NIBCO® Plastic Pipe Fittings
ABS PIPE DWV PLASTIC PIPE FITTINGS (5800 SERIES)
ABS-DWV (drain, waste and vent) plastic pipe fittings are used for residential and commercial sanitary systems. ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene) is an excellent high strength, high impact thermoplastic material ideal for use in residential and commercial drain, waste and vent systems. ABS is resistant to a wide variety of materials ranging from sewage to commercial household chemical formulations. ABS is lightweight, safe to handle and easy to install. Design Standards - ASTM D 2661 and D 3311. These standards provide the material and test requirements as well as the fitting geometries for ABS-DWV fittings. These fittings are joined by threading or solvent cementing and can easily be connected to steel, copper or cast iron through the use of transition fittings.

PVC PIPE SCHEDULE 40 PRESSURE FITTINGS
PVC Schedule 40 plastic pipe pressure fittings used for potable water, chilled water, irrigation, golf course construction, and pool & spa. PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride). PVC is one of the thermoplastic materials most frequently specified for a variety of products used in the Pipe and Fittings Industry. Due to its excellent rigidity, corrosion and chemical resistance properties, it is also used in many chemical related areas. Design Standards - NIBCO® PVC Schedule 40 pressure fittings conform to ASTM Standards D 2466. Included in the standard are thread and socket specifications, by length, wall thickness, burst, material, quality and identification requirements. PVC 40 pipe fittings are manufactured from material conforming to ASTM D 1784 and meeting cell Class 12454. • NSF approved • Manufactured in ISO 9001 certified facility.
