    Full Face Expansion
    Joints Available
Ethylene Flexijoint® Teflon-Lined (PTFE Plastic) Expansion Joints

Ethylene's Flexijoint Teflon-Lined (PTFE Plastic) Expansion Joints have a proven record worldwide handling the chemical process industry's most corrosive pipe stress problems. They are formed from isostatically molded, FDA approved, virgin PTFE resin to guarantee product purity and uniform thickness.
    • Diameters from 1/2" through 42"
    • 2 through 10 convolutions
    • 150, 300 Class ANSI, J-bolt and other flanging available
    • Full vacuum with Vacuband support rings
    T-Bands™
T-Band™ support of convolution root and sidewall increases the stability at higher working pressures. At the maximum compression limit of the Flexijoint, the T-Bands™ will butt to prevent over-compression. Conventional support rings support only the convolution root and can not limit compression of the expansion joint.

These cables prevent over extension of the expansion joint. They provide maximum flexibility in stress-sensitive piping systems.

Full Face Expansion Joints Broaden Your Connection Options

Full face flanged expansion joints are available as a special option (pictured at left). The use of the full face connection can be effective in many area, especially when connecting to non-metal piping.

Ethylene Special Flexijoint and Flexarmor Configurations

Ethylene offers several special Flexijoint and Flexarmor expansion joint configurations including:

    Universal Expansion Joints
These units combine two Flexijoints with an intermediate PTFE lined spool piece: lateral movements are maximized to provide low spring rates; critical when mating to stress-sensitive graphite, FRP, glass, etc. process equipment.

Click Here to Request a Quote or More Information Hinged or Pinned & Slotted Joints
The hinged connection between the flanges provide lateral support while allowing only angular movement of the bellows. Pinned and slotted units provide angular and axial movements with lateral support.

    Gimbal Joints
Allows full angular freedom while limiting axial and lateral displacements.

    Senior Flexonics Flexible Metal Connectors

The basic function of flexible connectors is to provide piping systems with the flexibility needed to absorb noise and vibration, compensate for thermal growth, or permit motion of other piping elements.

Senior Flexonics flexible connectors are a perfect match of style, wall thickness and design to minimize the forces and stress within piping systems. These connectors are factory engineered, manufactured and tested to effectively isolate vibrations transmitted by mechanical equipment. Senior Flexonics can help you comply with noise level requirements by reducing pipe vibration throughout a structure.

Why Use Senior Flexonics Flexible Connectors?

Click Here to Request a Quote or More Information
    • Compensates for misalignment - Reduces stresses.
    • Controls vibration - Normal mechanical equipment vibrations are reduced at the connector.
    • Reduces noise - High pipe vibration noise is greatly reduced - often eliminated.
    • All metal construction - Eliminates shelf life problems and allows operation at elevated temperatures.
    • Absorbs thermal growth motion - Excellent protection for adjacent piping and equipment.
