Dependent on the design, GEMU Industrial Diaphragm Valves are especially suitable for highly-pure to heavily contaminated liquid and gaseous, inert and corrosive media. Just as classical control valves, diaphragm valves also have good control properties, especially for media which are contaminated or contain particles. The major areas of use are processes in a very wide range of different industrial applications.

GEMU Metal Body Diaphragm Valves feature electrical, pneumatic, and manual operated valves ranging in pipe sizes 1/8" - 12". Measurement and control equipment is available for these valves. Valves and actuators are maintenance free and easily serviced. These valves feature a modular design - easy conversion from manual to actuated.

GEMU 611 Industrial Metal Diaphragm Valves
GEMU 611 manually operated 2/2-way metal diaphragm valves have a low maintenance plastic bonnet and an integral optical position indicator as standard.

GEMU 615 Industrial Metal Diaphragm Valves
The GEMU 615 2/2-way diaphragm valve has a low maintenance piston actuator which can be controlled by inert gases. Normally Closed, Normally Open and Double Acting control functions are available. An optical position indicator is integrated as standard.

GEMU 618 Industrial Metal Diaphragm Valves
The GEMU 618 motorized metal diaphragm valve has a low maintenance electric actuator and a reversible synchronous motor. It is operated via a reduction gear and cam. The valve has an integrated optical position indicator as standard. GEMU 618 is also available without a stainless steel distance piece for applications with lower operating temperatures.

The GEMU 620 pneumatically operated 2/2-way diaphragm valve has a low maintenance membrane actuator which can be controlled by inert gaseous media.

GEMU 625 Industrial Metal Diaphragm Valves
The GEMU 625 2/2-way diaphragm valve has a low maintenance piston actuator which can be controlled by inert gases. Normally Closed, Normally Open and Double Acting control functions are available. An optical position indicator is integrated as standard.

GEMU 653 Industrial Metal Diaphragm Valves
The GEMU 653 manually operated 2/2-way metal diaphragm valve has a stainless steel bonnet and is available in two versions - GEMU 653 has a handwheel in high temperature and chemically resistant plasticl. The handwheel is non-rising and has a standard optical position indicator. Two bonnet versions are available: for 2/2-way bodies and for T-bodies or multi-port bodies.

GEMU 654 Industrial Metal Diaphragm Valves
The GEMU 654 manually operated 2/2-way metal diaphragm valve has a stainless steel bonnet and is available in two versions -GEMU 654 a stainless steel handwheel. The handwheel is non-rising and has a standard optical position indicator. Two bonnet versions are available: for 2/2-way bodies and for T-bodies or multi-port bodies.

GEMU 671 Industrial Metal Diaphragm Valves
The GEMU 611 and 671 manually operated 2/2-way metal diaphragm valves have a low maintenance plastic bonnet and an integral optical position indicator as standard.

GEMU 673 Industrial Metal Diaphragm Valves
The GEMU 601, 612 and 673 manually operated diaphragm valves have a temperature resistant plastic handwheel. Bonnet and internals are made all of stainless steel. An integral optical position indicator and a seal adjuster to increase service life of the diaphragm are included as standard. GEMU 602 has a stainless steel handwheel and an integral optical position indicator.

GEMU 675 Industrial Metal Diaphragm Valves
The GEMU 675 manually operated 2/2-way metal diaphragm valve has a non-rising handwheel and an integral optical position indicator as standard.

GEMU 695 Industrial Metal Diaphragm Valves
The GEMU 695 pneumatically operated 2/2-way diaphragm valve has a low maintenance membrane actuator which can be controlled by inert gaseous media. Normally Closed, Normally Open and Double Acting control functions are available.

GEMU 698 Industrial Metal Diaphragm Valves
The GEMU 698 motorized 2/2-way diaphragm valve has a low maintenance electric actuator with a toothed belt drive and a reversible synchronous motor. A manual override and an optical position indicator are standard.

GEMU Plastic Diaphragm Valves offer a corrosion resistant, all plastic construction. The body and diaphragm sizes have coordinated diameters, hence the fitting time is reduced because the pipe and fixing centers remain the same. These valves are offered as manually operated or actuated. Accessories include electrical remote indication and a lockable hand wheel for manually operated designs.

GEMU 600 Plastic Diaphragm Valves
The pneumatically operated 2/2 way diaphragm valve GEMU 600 is a corrosion-resistant all plastic construction. It has a maintenance-free piston actuator which can be controlled by any inert gas. GEMU 600 has a stroke limiter and an integral optical position indicator. The control functions "normally closed", "normally open" and "double acting" are available.

GEMU 613 Plastic Diaphragm Valves
Valve body and diaphragm are available in various materials, Low maintenance electric actuator with reversible synchronous motor, Reduction gear is operated via a cam, spring ensures continuous contact between the cam and the valve spindle, Optical position indicator.

GEMU 667 Plastic Diaphragm Valves
The GEMU 667 pneumatically operated 2/2 way diaphragm valve has a low maintenance membrane actuator. All medium wetted parts and the housing are made of plastic. Valve sizes DN 15 to DN 50 are self-opening due to integral springs (Control function 2), valve sizes DN 65 and DN 80 are opened by the pressure of the working medium on the diaphragm (Control function 5).

GEMU 677 Plastic Diaphragm Valves
All medium wetted parts, the bonnet and handwheel of the GEMU 677 2/2-way diaphragm valve are made of plastic. The maintenance-free plastic bonnet has an economically designed handwheel with integral optical position indicator.

GEMU 690 Plastic Diaphragm Valves
The GEMU 690 2/2 way valve has a low maintenance membrane actuator which can be controlled by inert gases. Normally Closed, Normally Open and Double Acting control functions are available. All medium wetted parts and the actuator housing are made of plastic.

The GEMU 693 motorized 2/2 way diaphragm valve has a low- maintenance electric actuator incorporating a reversible synchronous motor and a low maintenance toothed belt drive. It is fitted with a manual override and an optical position indicator.

HILLS McCANNA Diaphragm Valves provide leak-tight shut-off of corrosive liquids, semi-solids, slurries, gases, viscous materials and other fluids with temperatures to 400°F and pressures up to 200 psig. Resistoflex (PTFE) Teflon-Lined Diaphragm Valves
[Resistoflex Valves, Resistoflex Diaphragm Valves]

Resistoflex (PTFE) Teflon-Lined Diaphragm Valves combine accurate throttling of flow with positive shut-off. The streamlined flow passage creates minimum pressure drop, and the compressor is carefully matched to wier contour to exert uniform pressure on the diaphragm, increasing diaphragm life. Also, these self draining valves have no crevices where particles can collect. That means cleaner operation.

Resistoflex Diaphragm Valves were specifically designed to keep hazardous or corrosive fluids contained. The fluid being handled is completely sealed off from the outside environment by a thick, inert plastic liner and the diaphragm. Since there is no stem in the fluid stream, stem leakage problems are eliminated.

Asahi Plastic Body Diaphragm Valves

Asahi's valve design is abrasion-resistant and non-clogging. Slurries at low pressure that would normally clog most other valve designs easily pass through a diaphragm valve. The valve has a top-entry design, allowing in-line maintenance; it is suitable for throttling and on/off service in applications ranging from water treatment to chemical abrasion processes. Asahi diaphragm valves are operated manually, electrically, or pneumatically.
